Our Patriots-students, teachers, and support personnel - have all pulled together and made this year of hurricane and continued COVID circumstances the best we could have imagined.

Please join me he first week of MAY & CELEBRATE ALL OF OUR TEACHERS with words and messages of gratitude for the jobe they have done this year!

Meet and Greet for the 22-23 school year is Friday, August 5th.  To receive your child's Classroom Assignment, ALL families MUST provide:

  • Current Proof of Residence w/ matching address on guardian's driver's license
  • Accepted items:  Gas OR electric bill; lease signed by renter AND landlord that includes utilities.  We will not accept a lease that DOES NOT include utilities.  Families will need to provide a separate utility bill in this case.

Happy Spring Patriots!  Thank you to everyone who was able to support of our Spring Book Fair as well as our Honor Roll!  It was WONDERFUL to have families back on campus!

As we move through April and into Testing Season, pleas be mindful of the following expectations and recommendations for students and testers:

-Stick to your normal routine of daily and afterschool activities and/or getting exercise to keep your mind sharp and consistent.

-Get a good night's sleep every night of testing and after!

-Do NOT go into the exams with an empty stomach ~ Fresh fruits and vegetables are often recommended to reduce stress.  Stay away from Stressful foods such as processed foods, artificial sweeteners, carbonated soft drinks, chocolate, fried food, junk food, sugar, chips, and similar snack food containing preservatives.

-ATTEND school every day of testing an arrive on time.

Our April Core Value is OWNERSHIP!  Please take ownership of all the hard work you have done this year so that you excel in April & May!

February 1st begins our kickoff of Black History Month.  Although Black History is US history, February allows us the opportunity to dive deeper and celebrate the heroes, artists, scientists, educators, and more!

Each day will begin with sharing a historical figure during morning announcements and circles.  We will also have a Black History month dress down, featured literature, featured music and musicians, and bulletin boards.  Please join us in the learning.
